Dog Friendly Shopping Seller Agreement
- Introduction
Welcome to Dog Friendly Shopping!
This Seller Agreement (the "Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions that govern your use of our marketplace as a seller. By uploading and selling your products on Dog Friendly Shopping, you agree to comply with this Agreement.
- Eligibility
To become a seller on Dog Friendly Shopping, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid email address.
- Have a legal business.
- Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your products.
- Product Listings
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their product listings are accurate, complete, and not misleading.
Product descriptions must include clear images, accurate titles, detailed descriptions, pricing, and shipping information.
Sellers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to product safety, labeling, and consumer protection.
- Fees and Payments
Dog Friendly Shopping charges a commission of 10% on each sale made through the platform and we charge £10/month from sellers.
Payments to sellers will be processed via the selected payment method 15 days after orders returns days passed. Sellers must provide valid payment information.
EU VAT and US Sales Tax are collected by the Marketplace on behalf of Sellers and deducted from the order value while payout from the Marketplace to Sellers.
Our platform provides sellers with various shipping setup options that they must follow. When an order is placed, the shipping costs will be shared among the sellers involved in that order. This ensures a fair distribution of shipping expenses.
- Order Fulfillment
Sellers must fulfill orders promptly and accurately.
Products must be shipped within 2-3 business days of receiving an order.
Sellers must provide tracking information for shipped orders.
If a seller cannot fulfill an order, they must notify the buyer and Dog Friendly Shopping immediately and provide a refund if necessary.
- Returns and Refunds
Sellers must establish a clear return and refund policy and include it in their product listings.
Sellers must handle returns and refunds in compliance with their stated policy and applicable laws.
Dog Friendly Shopping reserves the right to mediate disputes between buyers and sellers and may issue refunds on behalf of the seller if necessary.
- Prohibited Items
Sellers may not list or sell items that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or violate intellectual property rights.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, weapons, hazardous materials, and adult content.
Dog Friendly Shopping reserves the right to remove immediately, without prior notice and without any liability, any listings that violate this policy.
- Intellectual Property
Sellers have the right to sell the products they list on Dog Friendly Shopping, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Sellers must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
By listing products on Dog Friendly Shopping, sellers grant Dog Friendly Shopping a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display product images and descriptions for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Termination
Dog Friendly Shopping reserves the right to terminate a seller's account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of this Agreement, without any liability.
Sellers may terminate their account by providing written notice to Dog Friendly Shopping with a 30-day notice period.
Upon termination, sellers must cease all use of the marketplace and remove their product listings.
- Limitation of Liability
Dog Friendly Shopping is not liable to anyone for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the marketplace. Dog Friendly Shopping is also not responsible for damage caused by force majeure.
Sellers agree to indemnify and hold Dog Friendly Shopping harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the marketplace or their violation of this Agreement.
- Amendments
Dog Friendly Shopping reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes via email or through the seller portal.
Continued use of the marketplace after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
